With some muscle and some acquired smarts, Taylor is going to be a force in the paint next year...

Both freshmen (Hale and Taylor) show some real future for the Tide and have shown improvement over the season.

I honestly don't know what to think about Grant at this point. The last couple of games, my impression is that he's finally let them loose to play the game they could and they've shown what they could have done all year. At the same time, they played disciplined, tough defense against a really good Hog team and kept them off-balance all night. I definitely credit Grant with that. On offense, however, I'm seeing a triumph of talent over scheme. I'm not sure I can stand another year of failed screens...

We get LSU, then Kentucky (opposite side of the bracket from Florida). We've beaten LSU and with a fair shake could have beaten Kentucky.

FWIW I thought Bama was a very good team - despite the record.

Great Post. Sorry I missed the game yesterday (The Wife had other plans!).

Maybe putting Wilson in and the change in style are a sign of things to come.

Also, starting to think that the "Constant screen game" on basketball offenses are a thing of the past. Defenses are now adept to fighting over the screens, switching, etc.... Maybe screens for a "quick hitter" are effective, but not after 10 seconds into the offense.

That's what I was thinking as well. Bama guards just have to be careful about when and where they make their drives to the basket and need to hit some jumpers.
