Game Thread: ****Bama vs. Hogs****

Didn't get to watch but after reading this thread it sound like we played out of our minds. Where was this all season?

I honestly don't know what to think about Grant at this point. The last couple of games, my impression is that he's finally let them loose to play the game they could and they've shown what they could have done all year. At the same time, they played disciplined, tough defense against a really good Hog team and kept them off-balance all night. I definitely credit Grant with that. On offense, however, I'm seeing a triumph of talent over scheme. I'm not sure I can stand another year of failed screens...

yeah it was, they won the tournament that year at ga tech's arena after the tornado damaged the dome

**meant to quote DzynKingRTR's post**

"hey a bad UGA team did it a few years ago. Wasn't that the tornado at the dome year?"

Just happy the team closed out the regular season with a win. Now, let's make at the very least a good showing in the SEC tourney.

Great Post. Sorry I missed the game yesterday (The Wife had other plans!).

Maybe putting Wilson in and the change in style are a sign of things to come.

Also, starting to think that the "Constant screen game" on basketball offenses are a thing of the past. Defenses are now adept to fighting over the screens, switching, etc.... Maybe screens for a "quick hitter" are effective, but not after 10 seconds into the offense.
