The game is nowhere near over, but if we don't have a complete turnaround this will get even worse very quickly. I need to find a way to get OJ Howard in the game, and I have a feeling Derrick Henry and Adam Giffith (or whatever his last name is) will need to show up big.

We can win this game, but not with the game plan on D that we had in the 1st half. Hope our team gets it figured out.

My problem isn't the turnovers, those happen to everyone. But we haven't even come close to stopping one of their offensive drives

after teaching them our defense last year, they know how to exploit it

Turnovers are the difference..Period... Very disappointed in some of these posts. RTR!

This is weak sauce. Defense still needs to be able to stop them, which they haven't been able to do yet. If we can adjust our gameplan and get some stops, we will be much better off in the second half. Only one of the turnovers pretty much equaled automatic points. the other two we had plently of field to stop or hold them to a field goal. I still have faith that our coaches will make the adjustments and get us back in the game! Roll Tide!

I am fine with people showing emotion and frustration, but I will disagree with the bold print. I doesn't look good but I am in no way giving up or think that we cannot win this game.

If they are insulting them personally, then yeah that's out of line. But if you're pointing out facts, I don't have a problem with that. I haven't seen much insulting here to be honest but maybe I missed it.

OU is a stale program and they have gotten tired of being told that. What better opportunity to shut up the doubters than to knock off big bad Alabama? You can tell they want this game badly.

I think this thread is proof just how spoiled our fan base is. I hope our team can handle adversity better than Tidefans. It's possible to comment, even negatively, without the sarcasm, smart butt remarks and coach and player bashing. We're going to start following site policies in the second half...

tagging on to what tide-hsv said here, i'm going to add this: i'm just a visitor here, and some of you may take this the wrong way but it may help others realize how it's coming across poorly, but some of you guys sound like lsu fans over on their boards. i expect bama fans to have a better attitude than this.

I've seen enough to know this: Game after game when we face a tempo offense with any talent, we are lost at best and torched at worst. This will not change without a major change on defense. And I'm surprised it has taken this long for the best coaching staff in the game to adapt.

There is just simply no denying this.

A stop and score is all we need. We got away from the run late understandably...I don't think the pass rush issues will stick in the 3rd unless we can't stop them and have to abandon the run.

If I was in the locker room, I'd be asking: how do you guys want to end this season? Do you want to just mail in the last 30 minutes? I know OU would love nothing more to pile it on if they get a hint they can get away with it. Then you'll really be embarrassed and probably won't recover from next season or the one after it. OR -- do you gentlemen want to FINISH?
