Game Thread: Baylor vs Oklahoma

That is not targeting. The receiver is the one who went low by bending over, if he hadn't done that it would have been a normal hit. The receiver did more targeting then the DB.

Every receiver is defenseless when they catch the ball, this rule is ridiculous and needs to be eliminated. That was a football play that resulted in knocking the ball loose. Any other year then this year, we would praise that hit. This is the dumbest rule ever.

Go back and watch the play again if you have the ability. The DB had plenty of time (relatively speaking) to set up for the tackle and even if the receiver hadn't ducked, he would have hit him right in the throat...

OU's offensive playcalling is terrible. And what's with the announcers saying "you can't settle for field goals here!" when it's 3-0 early in the 2nd quarter?

did Baylor learn to play defense or did Oklahoma forget how to play offense.

so far Oklahoma only offensive gain has been thru penalties on one play.

and as I am typing okie's D scores a safety

I know there has been good defense played but Oklahoma has no idea how to call a good QB run and apparently can't throw anything but screens. And Baylor's QB held that way too long in his own endzone

Anybody who references a baseball game (score) needs to be chained inside a porta-potty and set on fire.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled football game.

Other than a delayed safety blitz, OU is not doing anything special. Just some cover-1 with a robber/rat safety that has run and underneath pass responsibilities.

In other words, Sabanesque.
