Just got back from a week of biz in Tx. One question and one observation:

First the question. Have been in the dark, but has there been any news on Kirby and Georgia?

Observation: Spoke with several TX fans while in restaurants and such. I did not offer any opinions but only asked about their thoughts on the title game with Bama. The consensus was they weren't sure what McCoy would show up, Ingram scares them, and Bama will have a tough time with their top ranked D. Not once was Bama's D mentioned.

I found this to be very interesting. I shared this with a LSU fan during a layover in Houston and he stated that they have not seen a D until they play ours. My sentiments exactly.

Interesting. Doesn't mirror the fans on their message boards, but that's nothing new. There, our defense is pretty much dismissed. I think they, and probably their team, are the over-confident ones. Don't worry about CKS...

Pretty much the same as it not being mentioned at all.

Methinks the fact that an LSU fan is talking up our defense says something -- teams ought not to underestimate our defense. It tends to turn around and bite them in the cheeks.
