agreed. those guys were heisman trophy winners

which half? chad pennington is the only one i can think of. brodie has a big arm, but not bigger than half the nfl starters. then again the strongest arm in the nfl is backing up mark brunell right now. i think bc can play at the next level, i just doubt that he'll get a fair shake, or, if he does, that he'll stay healthy.

So were Eric Crouch and Gino Toretta. Were you trying to make a point?

You must not watch much NFL ffotball if you think an injured Chad Pennington is the only one in the league with a weaker arm than Brodie.

yes and you're helping. all of those guys, with the exception of toretta, were undersized by nfl standards, and all were better college players than bc, and all did nothing better than hold clipboards and spell injured starters in the nfl. your point is that those guys didn't succeed, in part, bc they didn't have nfl arms, which brodie does. i agree, but think it has alot more to do with their size and nfl teams' reluctance to start small qbs. doug flutie, for instance, in addition to being a great playmaker, had a very live arm. dan marino said as much on the bob costas show this past week.

why don't you help educate me then? which 16 starting nfl qbs have been good boys all year and are asking santa claus for brodie croyle's arm?

Listing them would just be a colossal waste of my time. It's apparent that you're predisposed to claim that most if not all of them have at least as strong an arm as Brodie, or better. It would be an exercise in futility on my part and I'd rather spend my time elsewhere on the forum.

During the CBS Kansas City/ San Diego NFL game they did a promo for the Bama/Mississippi State game with Brodie Croyle. Phil Simms said "Brodie Croyle definitely has an NFL arm. He can throw the ball." ;)
