Its already started on reddit and the sec rant by georgia fans and bama haters. My favorite was the LSU fan that said that Alabama and Texas are the only two teams that could be competitive with georgia right now but Georgia would be favored. Alabama has won 5 out of the last 6 against Georgia and didn't even trail in the sec championship game after the first quarter but georgia is still the best team....cause reasons.

I have noticed the one time Georgia beat Alabama. The narrative was "the King is dead. Their is a new dynasty in town"

Every time I have seen Bama beat Georgia the Narrative is "Well Georgia really still the best team and deserves another chance."

Best (and only?) commentary takeaway from Bachelor Boy Palmer and his sidekick in the booth was that Dawgs didn't opt out of their offense once the (insert number here)-stringers started streaming into the action. Something to the effect of "May seem like Georgia's running up the score" passing when up by 50+, "but that's why these players come here - to run the offense when they get on the field."

Saban may never succumb to that mindset but it sho' 'nuff was pretty last evening. And, uh, gave 'Bama some good film for next Sept. 28... -

I know he had a surgery of some type after he injured himself in the regular season but he played against us. 🤷🏻‍♂️ To be fair if it’s injury related I will cut A LOT more slack, like all of the slack. I honestly think some of these kids come back too early. But the trend is just, idk, depressing. I’d have given a lot to play for the Tide. I’ve had a few family members including a parent that played a sport for Alabama and to see guys just treat it as a side job or a favor or something just kills me.

I know how you feel, I am of the same belief, but that was then and this is now.

College football is broken!

It's coming. Maybe not next year. But after the world sees some 9 - 12th-seeded teams get their teeth kicked in it'll happen. When those teams no longer think they have a realistic chance at the championship, personal interest will trump team. Bank on it.

And yes, college football is broken. We're largely insulated from that because of Saban. But a sad day will come when he's no longer in the chair and we'll see just how broken it is.

It's more shocking how bad FSU looked - a supposed P5 champion shouldn't be so thin that their second string players are worse than FCS schools.

This game exposed the importance of the culture within a program. FSU had a weak core. They also had just started to “be back” which always takes a few recruiting classes. They had top tier starters and that’s it. By allowing the players this level of arrogance Norvell made a deal with the devil. It’s not sustainable and now they will reap what they’ve sown. FSU will have to start all over.
