Rod Gilmore just outlined how UT can block against 7 and 8 in the box against Alabama so that Colt can run successfully.
I don't think we're going to play 7 and 8 in the box very much. I've got us in nickel and dime playing max coverage and rushing 4 sometimes 5 all night.
Now Texas will play some 7 and 8 in the box, and BAMA will try to run against it.
Plus I think Colt running the football scares me less than Colt throwing the ball.
The fewer receivers Texas puts in the pattern the better.
