I always thought Peterson was a very good coach. How can you forget him at Boise St?

Good coach and a classy guy, I have always respected Coach Petersen. Looks like Washington handled the transition seemlessly

Can't believe he's done coaching. He's only 55 so I think someone will offer him big bucks and he'll end up somewhere else eventually.

If he stays in coaching, which you have to assume he will, then I see him back in the ranks of the mid majors where he can build something from the ground up and no pressure.

He'd be a great addition to the SEC if he ever decided to return to coaching.

On the SECN crawler today he was quoted as saying he was stressed out and needed a break. Might return to coaching one day. He very well also may want to spend time with his family as that is something any dad would want to do more of, I would think.

Pure speculation on my part, but wouldn't be shocked.
