I'll get back to you guys later. I'm busy putting feelers out with Michigan players.
They don't have any offensive tackles of interest but they do have a FS and boundary corner who are a RS Soph and true Soph. I don't know anything about them individually, just that the entire secondary was highly regarded. I would assume the staff will know or have other plans to address Alabama's needs there.

IMO, Bama's only real losses thus far are Downs and Amos. To a lesser extent Little. But all are in the secondary. My guess is that Proctor is not what they are looking for at OT, though they may have been willing or had to "settle". Other than that they just lost a couple of deph pieces, e.g., Blackshire. Bond and Niblack: I would rather have them but really don't care much, meh.

If he does leave I think this will be a good litmus test for how aggressive CKD and company will be in the portal and maybe even recruiting in general. If Harblah leaves Michigan and we aren’t even mentioned among the possible departures I’m gonna be a little apprehensive of the future
Did you see anybody in particular you wanted?

If Hairball does leave and UM names the OC as head coach immediately & he keeps the staff mostly intact the exodus to the portal might not be what some think. They had a fairly big group of seniors & early departures so probably a lot of players looking at moving up with a familiar staff and a HC that had actually been their game coach for several games in 2023

Michigan will not bleed the way that Alabama did unless they totally turn over the coaching roster the way that you did. Also, these players just won a national championship. They are a tight group.

Still, I hope that there is full scale tampering happening to shake them up a bit. They won't go to Ohio State, so someone like Alabama, Texas or Georgia will have to pony up the cash.

This will be where Courtney Morgan may come in handy. He has some relationships with their older players.

Sounds like Minter is nfl bound with Harbaugh so they will shake up a bit.

The big question here is will the enrollment window actually matter here, im betting no. But we will soon find out.

I suppose I'm rooting for chaos here.

They got a TE and a safety who are pretty good. I’m sure we would take a tackle and a D lineman as well. Tbh I haven’t watched enough of their film to say anything for sure

Ay guys, I know this might sound like a dumb question but what became of Tommy Rees, I had to go searching but him being terminated was like a whisper, if anything at all was said. Did he just pack his stuff up and move out when CNS announced his retirement? Did CKD sit down and have a short NFL style "You're Cut" meeting with him? I'm just speculating and wondering what that was like for Tommy Rees.

TEs coach for the Browns, I think.

I guess that’s my point. Why measure CKD on Michigan players we don’t know or care about and their desire to play for Bama?

Their best team in 20 years barely beat our worst team in 17. Barely. Like our one bad fumble away from losing to our worst. That roster doesn’t offer that much to us.

I bet Coach Saban is the one who helped get him a job as TE coach with Cleveland Browns.

Not a coach, but I just read that Amy Bragg, our nutritionist since Saban arrived in 2007, is no longer on the staff roster. I think Coach DeBoer brought in his own nutritionist.

I don't know anything about the new person, but wish Amy Bragg could have stayed. Glad Jeff Allen is staying. Those 2 have been very important pieces to the program over the years.

On the NFL side of the news, it is being reported that if Harbaugh does get the Chargers job he intends to bring some of his Michigan staff with him. I think if that does happen there will be more than a few decide to jump ship.
