Yeah, I'm talking about Knowles - he's the one going to State Penn.Johnson has been elite for a while though, sent a lot of guys to the league.

Good DC's aren't. Especially if they call the defense during the game.My opinion? Keep the DL. DCs are a dime a dozen, what he teaches those guys has them doing great at the line of scrimmage.
IMO Grubb’s process is “please someone in the NFL give me another shot”.
At what point do reporters stop showing up to press conferences. They're meaningless.
It's not like reporters have a whole lot to do -- other than scan the internet for possible stories. They will show up as long as there are press conferences...At what point do reporters stop showing up to press conferences. They're meaningless.
I agree. He comes across as a complete idiot in these pressers. At what point do reporters stop showing up to press conferences. They're meaningless.
If he's considering Alabama as a last resort then I don't want him because he won't be happy and he'll be gone after one season. I don't want people in Tuscaloosa who don't want to be there. It's bad business.IMO Grubb’s process is “please someone in the NFL give me another shot”.
It’s pretty close to Les Miles level nonsense except that CKDs word order flows a bit more naturally.I agree. He comes across as a complete idiot in these pressers.
Fair enough, but I think it is wise to favor the NFL over CFB right now. The endless open free agency with no rules or accountability on top of the traditional year-round courtship of teenagers that already made recruiting too hard for most coaches? Thx, but no thxIf he's considering Alabama as a last resort then I don't want him because he won't be happy and he'll be gone after one season. I don't blame him for preferring to be in the NFL over CFB right now. I'm just saying if the guy and his wife don't want to be here, we have no business hiring him, even for one year.Fair enough, but I think it is wise to favor the NFL over CFB right now. When asked about the hire Pete Carroll responded “Yeah I know Chip is a little young for the job, but at some point you have to give young people a shot….”Chip Kelly to the Raiders as OC.

Julian SayinWonder if there’s a coach in waiting kind of thing.
Kelly may not want to coach a young QBs this year.
Right, at Ohio State. Kelly may not want to coach him.Julian Sayin
The Raiders are actually making some serious moves on the coaching trail. This is an outstanding hire for them. It will be interesting to see what Spytek and Carroll do in FA wrt a QB.Chip Kelly to the Raiders as OC.
