  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Rees to Ohio State?
Maybe. But he just accepted the OC job with the Cleveland Browns. I wouldn’t see him leaving to take the tOSU job unless he just believes he relates better to players at the college level.

Has SC ever coached football aside from his special teams role at Georgia?

I thought he had always been a strength coach.

He was a grad assistant for LSU 2001-2. No idea what he did but the next two years he was assistant strength coach there so he was probably involved in strength training as a GA.

I hope he has his addiction under control and wish him well.

Not even the same neighborhood for a comparison.

If Cochran does well it will be an even greater achievement than what prime has managed.
You are correct, terrible comparison, other than the head coaching part.
W. Al was 9-2 last year…though that means little heading into next season for a number of reasons.

I don't know if it's been posted here but Scott Huff was hired by the LA Rams. I was hoping he might join his buddies in T-town.

My apologies for not hitting like on this post. He seemed to have been one of DeBoer's more successful coaches but the current OL guy recruits well so that's something.

It kind of makes you wonder if Huff really is just a west coast guy like they made Grubb out to be. Unlike Grubb, Huff never actually left the west coast. He is from Arizona, he played for Boise St., he then coached at Arizona St., Boise St., Washington, Seattle Seahawks and now LA Rams. So if any of DeBoer's old guys just didn't want to leave the west coast it probably is this guy.
