I dont' tune in to many of the sportshockjocks anymore no if they are talking real sports I'm all for it but those Howard Sterns of the sports wave are useless for me.

The guy is an idiot and should never be listened to. He picked against the Horns and Vince all 2005, and even refused to give credit to Vince AFTER the Rose Bowl. He really is just an a-hole.

Yeah I don't listen to the turd or Chrissy rome at all and never will and the sport shows in Huntsville are just about as bad so I don't listen to them either. It's like way to much hype and I really enjoy sports but with some of these guys you would think they were talking about Armageddon.
I think some of the shows that I can pick up out of Birmingham are my favorites. They sound like reasonable sport fans and don't over hype things.

Well, he accomplished what he set out to do: he got you, and probably countless others, fired up and talking about him and his show. That has been the business model for sports radio personalities for years.

Based on some of the comments on this thread it sounds like he has a very successful radio show and has a lot of people that are listening. It's usually the guy who says he will never listen again that is the first to tune in the next day. Guys like Finebaum and Cowherd hype whatever the flavor of the day is in order to keep everything stirred up. That's they can rip Saban one day and then have him on the show the next day. I'm just glad we are having a good enough year that we are able to argue about not being in his top 5.

To have to look and listen to him on ESPNU is unbearable. But I did have it on the other day and heard his top 5. Who is in his title game? Isn't it USC and Oklahoma still? He has zero respect for anything south of the Mason/Dixon line. Who cares, he's a metrosexual moron. I'm sure he's never finished a Budweiser in his life!

Ever seen the dude on ESPN U? Big nose like Pinnochio. He's just a USC homer. SEC is down this year, but Bama deserves respect based on our D. Texas and the rest of the Big 12 don't play D. He thinks Bama is not a true contender based on lack of depth and experience. He totally discounts the Saban factor due to the ESPN hate affair with him last season.

I don't think Bama is necessarily headed for the national championship, but you have to rate teams based upon their record. This is where Cowherd misses the boat. If you lose, you have to go to the back of the line and hope your turn comes up again. Bama has to be no lower than 2 or 3 based upon the record of teams. Penn State may be good, but a Wisconsin win is not a good guage. Every SEC team would beat that slow group of non-athletes.
