I'm just here to congratulate you guys on a great season. I know this loss hurts, but no one expected you to be here. I think your team just ran out of gas toward the end, but that problem will be fixed in the coming years. Bama will now replace Auburn as one of the rotating teams that win the SEC West.

It's on to the Sugar Bowl now, which is a great consolation prize. I'm sure Bama will handle Utah with no problems and add to the SEC's win total in BCS Bowls, which is quite substantial.

See you guys next year in T-Town.
 
Classy Post!!! I think Bama allowed one too many big plays to overcome in this one. We are certainly well ahead of where we should be at this point.

Good luck to your Tigers in the post season as well!!! :)
 
Thanks for the props. We are proud of our season and look forward to the next several years. But we're hoping to stop that rotation for a while.:)
 
Thanks for the post. Believe it or not, we are not in meltdown mode. Most here think we are about two to three years away from being really good. We will be in the same boat as LSU next year as we start looking for the next QB. JPW has been starting for a while but maybe one of our young guys can step up and play good football.
 
Thanks. I have looked around some of our rival boards and see they think we are in meltdown. I don't know which sites they read but we are looking forward to playing Utah in the Sugar Bowl.

Yea, I wouldn't even understand why they would think any BAMA fans would be in meltdown mode. Specially when we were the only BCS team to go 12-0 and then climbed from 24th to number 1 in a season. We had a great chance to play for a national championship and we are still playing for in a BCS bowl game. Now we have the chance to end the season with a bowl win and a record of 13-1, which was more than any of us could have expected out of this season.

I know as a BAMA fan, I'm happy with the outcome and believe that it would only get better in the season to come.

And to LSUTigers1404, I agree with the rest when I say that was a classy post. Thanks and good luck next year. (until you play us of course)

The ones saying we're in "meltdown mode" need to look at their own program because most of them aren't going to a bowl or really have no business going to a bowl. 12-1 ain't nothing to meltdown about.

I think that deserves a slight correction. Most of us already think we are really good. Most here think we are about two to three years away from being a powerhouse. :)
