I always take I-59/I-20 to T-Town for the game. Are there any potential delays caused by road construction between Gadsden and T-Town that I need to plan for?

Yep, they're doing major bridge work around Mile 79 (Cottondale Exit). It's the same two lanes it always was, but somehow people can never drive in their lane at the same speed with neat big machines to stare at. For an 8:15 KO it should have minimal effect on time, but after you pass Mercedes be especially ready for traffic to slow or stop.

I'd get there super early and enjoy the pre-game environment, but your problem is going to be after the game when most of the 100K+ folks will be headed back toward B'ham. Of course, this is always the case until they get 20/59 widened to about 5 lanes between T-town and B'ham.

I agree BamaMoon...I always stop by Dreamland about 4 hours before the game.

My suggestion is to take 216 to Five Points and then either take Veteran's Memorial or University into Alberta, but then take Crescent Ridge Rd. through Holt to Jack Warner Pkwy. There's also bridge work in Alberta, which keeps you from taking University straight to campus.

take exit 98 us11 to skyland or university (i think skyland is quicker if you know the back roads of tuscaloosa.

A warning about Hwy 216...there are now traffic lights on 216 at I-59 exit 100. I suspect there are huge backups on gamedays.
