Destin Area?

Can anyone at or near Destin give me a report on the condition of the beaches? I am due for a week on the beach next week. I am particularly interested in the conditions at Crystal Sands between Destin and Sandestin. My wife is a little down in the dumps because we were cancelled twice last year due to hurricanes.

I talked to my step mom last night, my dad was in Pensacola during Katrina; he said there is minimal damage there so I would think Destin is okay too.

Destin

I live at Navarre, 25 miles west of Destin. I wish you could visit here but our Beach is torn to H---. Destin went largely unscathed by Katrina and is in good shape. Petrol is somewhat scarce but hopefully will improve by the time of your trip. Have a good visit.
