I think the real heat will be on the cornidators Again, but this will be the last of it. Next year will be his do or done season. So they better raise another $180k & go shopping in JUCO.

Dye is running things that part is clear.

It's all PR spin! Dye sings a totally different song to his friends outside the Barn walls. Who knows what the truth is and how he REALLY feels, but I don't see Auburn keeping The Cheeze Whiz if they really go 1-10. Sure, it would be FANTASTIC as it is so delicious to watch the Barn in a slow burn. But, can we really get our hopes up??!!

I posted this in another thread and it's applicable here too. I think most people just expect Auburn to show up and destroy Arkansas without any problem. Not sure it will that easy for the boogs. I just have a funny feeling Arkansas may actually show up ready to play. If they do it will be a good game. Arkansas has enough talent to play with and beat the barn. Auburn always gets some lucky, fluky scores at home so the Hogs better be ready to score some points. Not to mention the refs always seem to be on the boogs' side at JHS. If Arkansas hangs onto the ball and dosen't turn it over they have a reasonable chane to win. Last week they self destructed at Texas A&M with turnovers. Arkansas has no pressure on it whatsoever going into Auburn. Chizik and his staff, on the other hand, have a lot of pressure on them to win. Should be interesting.

You know they are about to change their name so they don't want to change their coach too. The new name is going to be SE Alabama U which means they can join in with the other directional schools to indicate their lower level D-1 status.

This, this, and this. Honestly, I have no idea why everyone is expecting API to steamroll the Hogs. Is it really just because Auburn played a decent game against the most overrated team in the SEC? Arkansas put up 500+ yards against A&M, who actually has a decent defense, while the Barn's D looks like a rusty sieve. Granted, Arky's D can make pretty much anyone look like a Heisman candidate, but I won't be surprised if Tyler Wilson puts up 400+ through the air. Everyone at AU, Pat Dye included, has already chalked this game up as a win, but I wont' be surprised if the Cow Patties don't lay an egg in the early TV slot.

It's funny listening to the state media talking heads on the TV stations as well as Finebaum. Plus the national media. All of them are already chalking up an easy win for Auburn. The barn better be ready to score some points because Wilson could have a big day if they aren't careful. Also if Knile Davis could actually hang onto the ball the Hogs might rush for some yards. The key is protecting Wilson in pass protection. Arkansas has won four of the last six against Auburn so I doubt Wilson and the Hogs are intimidated of them.

One of the few bright spots on the Auburn team has been the pass rush. Lemonier has been playing very well, and Wilson will have to be looking for him on every play.

The key is Arkansas running the ball. If they can't run the ball and Auburn is allowed to tee off on Wilson with the pass rush, it will be a long day for the Hogs. The Hogs need to run the ball with Knile Davis, Dennis Johnson and Ronnie Wingo and have some balance. Wilson will get knocked out again if all they do is throw the ball and have no running attack. Throwing some screens against that pass rush would help too.

in this game, I pick Arkansas to win...I just do not think that the game against LSU was an indicator of their defense gettin git otgether. It just looked more like LSU was struggling than Auburn had figured anything out.

Like most, if they can get a little balance with the running game, auburn loses to Arkansas. I STILL think Arkansas is a better team the theyve shown so far...and I'm hoping they show up this week.

I don't think they fire him - we all know they have the money to buy him out and buy another HC (as well as some players), but they are "all in" with Chiclets. Now, next year he does this (and he will), I think he's gone 5 - 6 games into the season. JMO.

And as much as I would like to see the Hogs stomp a bunch of cow patties out of the booger eaters, it just ain't gonna happen. This Arkansas team, with the love child of Elmer Fudd and Mr, Magoo at the helm, is a train wreck of epic proportions, and I don't think they win any SEC contests this year.
I said this when they announced this goof as their HC - Hogs 2012 season is a virtual forfeit.
