Finally some good news. I'm sick of seeing scumbags prosper. It's time to restore a little order to the universe and put Bama back on top where they belong.
here is a little help -> Tua only player-AL.COMCoach Saban said that only Tua received a Top 15 grade for the draft. I expect that we will see more returning. Roll Tide!
Come on!!! In the middle of this great news that's your takeaway??? You are the most negative positive Bama fan I've ever seen...If several juniors return, I imagine there will be a few transfers in order to make room for the 85 limit .. wonder who would transfer?
No link, but I heard it myself on Hey Coach last night.Do you have a link with that as a quote from CNS? (NOT THAT I AM DOUBTING YOU). That "news" is absolute HORSE HOCKEY!!! I personally know several of the scouts for NFL teams who focus is the SEC. Two others have really HIGH grades and JJ is one of them. Most have him as the #1 WR and there are several who say the gap between him and the next guy is considerable. That said, it only takes ONE GM to like you....or Al Davis![]()
I wonder sometimes if they do that in order to get a bargain in the draftHow did Jeudy NOT receive a Top 15 grade? Don’t believe that
Take note that he said top 15, not 1st round.I look at it as a two edge sword. On the one hand, I am happy to see most of these guys come back. On the other hand, it is a little disturbing that we only have a one or two first round picks. Probably have one more first rounder if not for injury, but still a little disheartening. To me, the most disturbing is we don't have a first round lineman, including Wills.
No, that is not my only takeaway... I also said I hope nobody transfers, but I imagine they would have to due to numbers and the 85 limit. That is not being negative, just realistic, since only 85 can be on scholarship.Come on!!! In the middle of this great news that's your takeaway??? You are the most negative positive Bama fan I've ever seen...![]()
I got you. I saw what he said. It’s one of those reporter type quotes used to get headlines which is funny considering how Coach rides the media sometimes. One, a full third of the teams didn’t offer a grade, and two, teams have been letting McShay and Kiper and the mock draft sites do the misinformation thing for them. All that said, I’d be stunned if JJ isn’t a top 10 selection. No link, but I heard it myself on Hey Coach last night.
I too was surprised that Jeudy didn't get a Top 15 grade. Maybe his grade was second half of the first round....I don't know. But I do know that the news is not, "horse hockey." It's what the man himself said.
It's your option to agree with Saban or not. But in my experience, he's been right just a teeny bit more often than he's been wrong, and I've never known him to mis-represent facts.
Misinformation and they LOVE LOVE LOVE for Juniors to come out too early. They love getting an Eddie Jackson or Mack Wilson at 2-4th round contracts for 4-5 years. It’s almost like stealing which has been CNS’s point these last few years.I wonder sometimes if they do that in order to get a bargain in the draft
he also spoke very eloquently about what is meant by “leaving things on the table”. Everyone mostly thinks money but you also leave a year of college and a year with some people that have become your family and playing the game for fun. That means something especially when you get older. Sounds like he is wise waaaaay beyond his years. This is the kind of example and leader this team is desperately needing.Take note that he said top 15, not 1st round.
This is great news from a football perspective, obviously. But to see Moses talk about the need to finish his degree is SOO impressive to me. Guy's got his head on straight. Maybe the injury kind of opened his eyes to the reality of what it looks like without football. Either way, this is great!!
