ESPN at it again...

Would you guys get a life!
The guy was jerking you, and a lot of other people, around. Recognize satire for what it is. He even admitted that last year's predictions were a disaster for him and suggested that this year's predictions should be read in the same light.
He wrote this as a laugher, and you should take it as such.

I dont laugh at Alabama football.:mad2: :BigA:

ok SOMEONE has to print this out and keep it locked up...i want to see how much o0f this ACTUALLY happens...seriously he says take it to the bank... wow gotta love espn columnists

13. TCU will be this season's Boise State:

then he writes....

20. TCU will crash the BCS party:

So which is it...TCU will be this years Boise State or not.

BTW I think we beat Ark., UGA and FSU

With due respect to all who post on here, why do ya'll even read that stuff? I never go to the ESPN website or watch ESPN unless it is during football season or to watch a golf tournament. By now everyone knows their bias against Alabama and it seems that your stress level would be less if you just boycotted their sites. :conf3:

I agree, they are the CNN of sports and everybody that disagrees with them are "ditto" heads.... I never visit their site except for a score or two and now if I need to check on NASCAR since they have taken over the NBC half of the season.

The problem is the more they know it burns us up, the more they are going to yank our chains about Saban! Don't email him, that just lets him know that his little story got some air time!

I tuned in to ESPN one time last year and that was to watch Alabama V LSU. Someone here on Tidefans once posted that "ESPN has become the MTV of sports". BINGO. Don't watch it, don't read it, no problems. :biggrin2:

I know this wasn't Herbstriet, but considering he's an ESPN guy, I thought it interesting that before last season, Herbie picked Miami to win it all! This idiot knows no more than Herbie.

todd mcshay was just on spouting his brilliance...he seemed to be obsessed with the 40 yrd dash for one thing - he was ragging on dwayne bowe for a "subpar" 40 time. then he said of ND RB darius walker "he hurt himself today by running both his forty times in the 4-sixes and also the fact that he had a history of fumble problems at notre dame" ...in reality he ran a 4.57 and a 4.56 and had no history of fumble problems in college...actually quite the opposite - he had a long streak of carries without fumbling finally snapped this year against USC. it's all a big cycle in my opinion, people get tired of the same old news so they try to keep it fresh. case in point all last week it was "brady quinn is falling down the draft board, not competitive, jamarcus is a stud..surefire no. 1 pick"...now this week it's "quinn shows up ripped and reps 24 times on bench...jamarcus looks flabby." they all speak so definitively on players who haven't played a pro snap yet. every time i hear an ESPN talking head speaking authoritatively on a prospect who will or won't make it i just want to say "tom brady" or "todd marinovich"

I watch espn with the volume muted so I don't have to hear their mindless chatter. I only watch live sporting events and never watch sportcenter or the other shows like that. espn and abc's "merger" was another attempt at putting the SEC into the ddark ages again. If you'll remember, they predicted OSU to win the the NC and practically handed Troy Smith the Heisman before the season. I think before the game with FLA, the NC trophy was placed in the OSU locker room and the media was set up in there as well.

How'd that work out? I have never pulled for FLA in my life until that game. I might could do the same for Auburn, but definately not Tenn.

Pardon me .. I was looking for the "Can't Grasp Sarcasm Support Group."
I see I've found the right room.
Geez, guys. Next thing you know, someone will predict an Alabama loss to Mississippi State, even though we know THAT could never happen.

Life is much more fun when you ignore goobers like ESPN. It's just another northeastern biased media outlet that hates the South and anybody associated with us (especially Alabama and its fans).

OMG!!! HE SAID WE WILL SAY THIS GUY ISN'T BEAR BRYANT. What a hack. If you are going to knock us at least be original.
