Don't know why I was just moved to check what might be on ESPN Classic this coming week, but they are running 7 straight Alabama-Auburn games starting this morning at 8 a.m EST!

They aren't consecutive years, but the marathon starts with the 1984 and 1985 games at 8 and 10 a.m., then the 1997 at noon, followed by the 1983 game at 2 p.m, with the 2003 game at 4 p.m., the 1982 game at 6 and the 1994 game at 8 p.m. EST.

I have some of these games on tape, but I set my DVR...

Thanks! Right now it's showing the 1984 Iron Bowl, and the '85 IB is next. Those were two great games that I remember like it was yesterday. Going to watch it until it starts showing the games where the bad guys win.

ESPNC Having Iron Bowl Marathon

Just randomly checked the channel and they are showing the iron bowls all day long. 1983-1985, 2003, and a couple others.

I just have turned on the game..This was the game Bo ran the wrong way right..Bo looks terrible in pass protection..He acts like he has no idea who too block..Which doesn't shock me..He's not the brightest star in the sky that's for sure..

I was under the goal post when Tiffin hit the fg. A larger state trooper and I jumped up and down for about a minute..I lost it!!!!! Best agme I have ever been to. Jelks and Hump were a great running back tandem in this one..and Richardsons catch at the end was fantastic....

How on earth do they not show 1996? It was even on ESPN. That is the greatest Iron Bowl I have ever seen live.

Ditto that TF17. I was sitting in the corner of the stadium, near the part of the field where Dennis Riddle crossed the finish line. Incredible Iron Bowl, for sure.

I just sat there and watched it from noon until it ended at 10p.m. I already had the first 2 games--and 2 more of them it turned out, but I couldn't stop watching even the ones I had taped either when they happened, or when they were on ESPN Classic another time... Considering how many of the games they showed were Auburn wins, I must be a masochist!

That was the last time I was at Legion Field. We sat in the Bama student section and that had to be the best come from behind Bama game that I have ever attended.

Guilty of the same crime. These games had a lot of momentum shifts.
It is why I take ANALYSTS with a grain of salt.
The team that wants it the mostest usually wins this game.
