As obnoxious as their fans (well the 15 fans that they have) are we need to pull for them since they lost to two of our opponents this year. I guess this means that we have to pull for Thugessee this weekend as well.

No way, it won't help us anyway. The only thing that will help us is to keep winning and teams ahead of us losing. I will be pulling hard for Memphis to pound UAB.
Pull for UAB? LMAO, that is the funniest thing i've ever heard. I don't pull for natural born losers.
My wife has 3 degrees from UAB. A few weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to go watch a game. She said, "Not no, but hell no." A few minutes later she asked, in all seriousness, "Does UAB play real college teams?"
I have no annomosity toward UAB. In fact, I would describe my feeling as apathetic. I just don't care and I don't think many other Bama fans care one way or the other about them, either.

They went to their first bowl last year. The year before they had a 6-5 record but no bowl. They advertise on TV & newspaper to get folks to show up.
Their lasgest crowd was 40,00+. Their last crowd was 31,000.
UAB Bashing
What's with all the UAB bashing? They are no threat to Bama...ever. We should wish them success because that means less money they get from us for their athletic program. Let's no forget that we are technically the same school...they are just a remote campus. We are "The University of Alabama" and they are "The University of Alabama at Birmingham". We even have the same school seal with just the words "at Birmingham" added to it.
Another thing is that I know every Crimson-bleeding Bama fan was a UAB fan when they played against UT earlier this season. And if you weren't then you just can't remember that you were. So I am cheering for the Blazers tonight. I will also be cheering for the Irish against Fulmer's team this weekend. Who else wants to see them 3-5? A team that "refused to be .500" going into our game hasn't won a game in 4 weeks (counting the off week).

I hope UAB loses but will not actually watch the game. My hope is that if they keep losing they will just go away and will stop sucking money from us.

Behind Auburn. Well they are Behind Auburn, but they also havent beaten Southern miss or UTK, and plus they probably have the 3rd best QB in the state. No love for them. I will be rooting for memphis big time.

I formerly had hoped that the little team that couldn't would somehow learn to could. But after listening and reading what their vocal fans have to say, I loathe everything about the Blazed. I sincerely hope that their "football team" loses so many games that not even the parents of the players will come to watch them play. I truly wish that their utterly futile attempts at D-1 football fail miserably, ending in severe financial ruin for their athletic department. They are truly a pathetic bunch.
