And just how much has Miles "run his mouth"? I remember a few comments here and there, mainly to fire up the Tiger faithful. But for the most part it has been harmless banter. Why do so many insist on making a lot out of a few harmless comments made by an LSU coach?
:p_conf:
I might be making a reach here but in case you may have forgotten , they are the enemy . Do you hear any garbage falling out of the mouths of ears or fatty ? They each have about 3X the head coaching experience as CNS's shadow(clm) does . Some are smart enough to know better while others aren't . Perhaps if clm would shut his mouth , = problem solved . :p_ask:

Les Miles is under ZERO pressure at LSU and will survive as long as he keeps winning . . . just like every coach in America.
Yes , we all know clm is the greatest coach in the history of college football .
All opponents are in a crushing state of constant awe . :p_cry:

Seriously , clm's situation could turn Curry-esque in a heartbeat , unless he learns to shut his mouth . He is under some pressure and up to this point , it has been pretty much exclusively self-induced . "Let 'er rip" , les .

Anybody else like me tired of hearing about our lack of depth?
Now that the probation and MikeShula talk is behind us the next hurdle
is getting the players that lous st, barn, ga,tenn and fla have been accustomed to in depth and talent. Its going to be nice to take over the driver seat. How many years has it been that weve been hearing Bama will be back? It seems like every year for the past 10 we've been hearing "only about 4 more years" till coaching and recruiting get Ala get caught up.

What has hurt Alabama the last few years and :BigA:put us at a disadvantage have been the classes of 2001, 2002 and 2003 - the ones that were severely impacted by the NCAA santions. The players that made up those classes have been the upperclassmen and leaders that teams all over the country have leaned on the last few years. This is were Alabama has been at a very significant disadvantage.

The competitive disadvantage that was intended by the NCAA is coming to an end. Over a 3 year period, we had nearly a quarter of our team taken away. It won't be an overnight transformation but we're in a much better situation on our roster right now than we have been over the past 7 years. Now with a solid coaching staff in place to coach and recruit with the top programs in the country, Bama can finally get Back!

You have a great coach at Bama. CNS left LSU to coach at the pro level. If hindsight would be crystal clear 20/20 he would have never left LSU. We went out and hired a coach who has improved EVERY year he has been here.

2004 9-3 (CNS's last year)
2005 11-2 No. 5 in the country
2006 11-2 No. 3 in the country

Hardly in anyone's shadow and not under any pressure by any reasonable person.

Both coaches have made comments they would like to have not made. To much was made of it and it's time to move on.

Most LSU and Bama fans have supported their programs with vigor, but never with venom toward the other. Nothing like you have with Auburn or Tenn. I hope it continues that way.

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!
