I had a light stroke last Friday.

Take care of yourself, be nice to the nurses and therapists, and get home soon to pet Butch and see our Crimson Tide win their 14th. Our prayers and best wishes to you. RTR!

Praying for you and Butch Tommy. He will miss you as much as you are missing him. My SS Class will be praying for you as well.
You can never have too much prayers you know.
Tom K.

So very sorry to hear about this.
My mother has been the victim of several, so I'm all too familiar with strokes and their impact.
Do exactly what the doctors and pharmacists say, and make sure you get plenty of rest.

And if college football causes you stress and you're worried about watching the game on Jan 9th, remember this: Bama will play for many more national championships in the years to come.
So, if you have to take it easy this go-round, do so.

Roll Tide, and Merry Christmas to you and yours!

TommyMac I am very sorry to hear about your recent troubles. Thank God it was a light one and your getting your strength back quickly. As others have said be sure and follow the Dr's orders and work with your PT. Like I told my grandaddy when he had a stroke, "now isn't the time to show how stubborn you can be". You will be in my prayers and I will add you to my bible study group's prayer list. Recover quickly friend and keep us all up to date on your condition. You've got a lot of friends here.

Hope you are back 100% real soon! Really appreciate your post. You have very good input & you are a GREAT BAMA FAN! ROLL TIDE! #14 is All for you.

It was a bleeder, not a blood clot, so I was lucky, but it presents major problems since my le legs are essentially useless. I'm in rehab with the Rotary unit at the Mobile Infirmary possibly until Dec. 28. It was on the right side of my brain which is most damaging to the left side of my body which sucks because my left leg was the stronger of the two. My strength seems to be coming back pretty fast after only 3 days of rehab, so I'm optimistic that in time this will just be a temporary setback.

The worst thing is missing Butch, my little Boston Terrier and my bestest buddy.

So pray for me as our beloved Crimson Tide is rolling to #14. RTR!

Tommy , my late father had multiple strokes as well as several mini strokes which eventually made rehab of little to no use so please tough it out as best you can and get well soon :)

Health problems can be so devastating, especially when they first happen to you. About a month ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Got to do the radiation and gold seed implants thing. But there are a lot of survivors of cancer and stroke. I've made up my mind that I'll be OK, and I'll be praying that you'll be OK too.

Prayers sent Tommy Mac. Get better soon man. I can't imagine how tough and, at times, disheartening the recovery process is. Keep your head up and stick with it man.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your "setback." I'll bet your little buddy misses you as much as you miss him. Hurry home to him.

Thinking of and praying for you, my old friend. Get well soon, hope to visit with you in the coming year.

By the way, just found out that Lindsay is going to have my first grandson and future Tide QB in June

God Bless

Bosco
