TommyMac I hope you see just how many people you impact on a regular basis. Isn't this board the greatest place? We've all got friends we've never met, but have an impact on us daily. I can say for a fact that there are few posters who I enjoy reading their thoughts as much as yours.

TM you better follow those Dr and PT orders to a T and get your rear end back in game shape. When PT gets tough and you just don't want to do it one day remember there's a lot of people here pulling for you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Besides, you Firefighters are a tough bunch so it's going to take a lot more than this little thing to take down TommyMac!

Hey TommyMac -

You get better. That's an order! :)

Praying for your complete and rapid recovery.

BN

It was a bleeder, not a blood clot, so I was lucky, but it presents major problems since my le legs are essentially useless. I'm in rehab with the Rotary unit at the Mobile Infirmary possibly until Dec. 28. It was on the right side of my brain which is most damaging to the left side of my body which sucks because my left leg was the stronger of the two. My strength seems to be coming back pretty fast after only 3 days of rehab, so I'm optimistic that in time this will just be a temporary setback.

The worst thing is missing Butch, my little Boston Terrier and my bestest buddy.

So pray for me as our beloved Crimson Tide is rolling to #14. RTR!

T-Mac: That is awesome news -- so glad to hear things are looking up for you my friend! I'm sure Butch eagerly awaits you at home!

Thanks to you all for your kind words and prayers. I had a great day today. I saw Butch and we had a great time, even got to take him for a short walk in my power chair and saw him kill some shrubbery.

I didn't mention before, but I've had a horrible rash since day 2 and have been clawing myself to shreds because of it and have been operating with a minimum of sleep, but a very sharp nurse isolated it down to Zofran which was given to me after complaining of nausea. Never again, I'll just puke my guts out if there's a next time.

At any rate, things are looking up and I'm looking forward to a great day of PT tomorrow after a good night of sleep tonight.

Thanks again, your concern is much appreciated. RTR!

T-Mac my prayers are with you, although you and I had a little roundy-round about how Mayer was using Tebow a few years ago I have always had the utmost respect and enjoy your posts much more than most. So grab it and growl like I know you will and I look forward to many more insightful posts.
Roll Tide!!
