Question: Incarcerating a president

Would Trump take a conditional pardon from Biden? That would take an admission of guilt to his nemisis...

When I first read the title, I thought it said, "Incinerating a president." I was like good grief, that's a bit extreme, hahaha.

Read a Secret Service agent said "it wouldn't be difficult at all to imprison Trump." Seems he has a great admiration for the Federal Penal System. Couldn't figure out if he was thinking about the particular facility under the direct control of the Attorney General.

After the last 2 decades of crazy Secret Service stories I would wait before I willingly believe a secret service agent saying it’s easy to secure anything but a Colombian hotel that has prostitution problems while on an official visit.

I'm not sure if Maxwell AFB still has the minimum security prison or not. That was a long time ago. They used the prisoners for janitorial duties. Always sort of concerned me with them walking around Finance considering the amount of personal information being worked on.

It's still there: FPC Montgomery (bop.gov)

That would be perfect because he has so many fans in this state that could visit him.

Would a federal conviction not end his protective detail?

Idk, I’m pretty sure there would regular posses formed to break him out given the support he has in this state. I almost put this in blue but I actually could see it happening.

Depends on the length of the sentence. All services send their criminals to Ft. Leavenworth for those sentenced to more than five years.

I’d bet they’re not - this is Alabama we’re talking about. I’d doubt the collective IQ’s of those in this state so inclined (probably in the thousands) would equal the number of seats in Ladd Stadium.
I didn’t know Georgia’s governor didn’t have the power to pardon - I thought all governors did. Good to know, though, especially in this case.

i wouldn't mind them just taking all of his money and dumping his ass in a run down studio apartment in the bluff and let him fend for himself
well, it's bluff adjacent :ROFLMAO:

“At this point, based on guidance received from the District Attorney’s office and presiding judge, it is expected that all 19 defendants named in the indictment will be booked at the Rice Street Jail,” Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Natalie Ammons said in a statement.
