Jalen Milroe appreciation thread

We didn't see those intermediate throws much at all in the first 3 games. Word was, Milroe couldn't make those. Kirby and co. bought it. They were not prepared for those.

I usually am doubtful when anyone says we are ‘sandbagging’ when we don’t seem to be playing well.

But I think anyone who said that turned out to be right.

We were running plays and routes vs UGA that we hadn’t shown yet.

Jalen was executing everything perfectly in the short and intermediate range.

We really were not showing our cards yet imo.

CKD’s strategy seemed to be set around making Kirby and everyone else think we were still struggling in certain areas.

Boy did that gambit work.

Large credit also goes to Jalen because he’s made massive improvements.

He was playing so confident and you could see him seeing the field.

What is it about these cats named Jalen who go out there and bust their butts getting better and win over the hearts of everyone!!

TIFWIW, PFF predicting Jalen will be the 1st QB taken in the draft.

I will admit, I sincerely thought Milroe was going to transferred. I'm glad he has stuck it out and he definitely deserves the praise he has been getting. With that said.....the work is not nearly over for him and Bama. Remain focus and anything is possible for the rest of the year.

I haven't been able to post much lately due to working with disaster relief here in Boone, but I'm very pleased with JM's development.

No one has ever questioned JM's work ethic and CKD's ability to develop QBs is, once again, on display!
im really sorry y’all are going through all of that. i finally talked to my friends in west asheville yesterday

The last 12+ months have been filled with criticisms of JM, but he's kept his head down, kept working. He could have bolted when Saban retired, but he stayed here and kept doing the work, leading by example. So far this season the improvement has been substantial:

Thank you to JM for ignoring the negativity and continuing the work to improve. I know he hasn't reached his ceiling yet, but I do know Bama can win another NC under him if he continues to do the work - which I know he will.

RTR!

Lank has definitely improved.

Well, hopefully we can appreciate him again after next week's game against the corndogs. Both teams with their backs against the wall at 2 losses each makes for an epic matchup in Death Valley at night. This one won't be for the faint of hear for sure.

I still appreciate Jalen Milroe.
Looks like we may get to appreciate him next year too:
