I just hope if Milroe isn't named the starter by Deboer.....that we don't lose the team.

If Milroe makes miracle strides and can do what's needed, great....if he can't and isn't the starter and the team pouts like they did early last season....we've got a huge problem.

Great kid.....needs a total metamorphosis to be a QB in Deboers system.

Jalen is the current face of Alabama football because he is one of the few leaders returning from last year. So why wouldn’t CKD talk about him?

But again, Mack was the only one talked about by the staff at the REC event. And it wasn’t just a “he will be good in the future” thing. It was more “if Penix wasn’t such an experienced starter then he would’ve started” kinda thing.

But any talk at this point is just that. KD isn’t NS and handles things differently with press and speaking opportunities. So just assuming “he said this so this is what is going to happen“ is just premature at this point. Because we have only had a month and some change with him.

I still don’t see him totally gearing his offense around Milroe without knowing that he doesn’t have better options to run his system before the end of Spring training like some have suggested. I think there is a honest competition and we most likely will know the quarterback before the end of the spring. I just don’t see the uncertainty that CNS allowed to happen last year go all the way to fall.

Can’t do that…personal shots about his opinion aren’t cool…whether you agree or not, it’s his opinion…that’s what makes this board great.

Emphasis on the great kid. Everyone seems to really like him as a person. My problem with him is he is completely playing out of position, and most of his coaches have lied to him his entire life. I’m no BOB apologist, but he was right in this instance

How is it inappropriate? Milroe lost both games last year and cost us a national championship. If literally ANY other QB from Saban’s tenure was playing last year, we win a title, even with the bad snaps. How can you not see it?

You saying a player 'sucks' is excessive and lazy. Blaming him for us not winning a national championship is borderline dumb. Check that. There's nothing borderline about it.

Ignore me if you want then. He literally threw the game away against Texas and fumbled it away against Michigan, period. He doesn’t possess the mental side of the QB position, and he is the most “protected” player I’ve ever seen by a ton of folks. My goodness, there’s a poster on this board who thinks Milroe is a better QB than Bryce Young…

You want to gameplan with me…
You don’t want to gameplan against me…
Imagine if JM left and came back to get an invite to NY and a NC…or close with another SEC/BIG18 team (notice I’ve stopped saying school)…we’d get

after watching his progress through the season and his november play, some of the georgia folks in my office were not very happy about having to face him in the seccg, and their feelings were correct

Simple. Because without him, we don't beat LSU, Auburn, UGA and, likely, Tennessee. You refuse to see anything that isn't a mistake.
