LB Kwon Alexander Updates

Re: Where was Kwon Alexander's unofficial visit to this weekend?

I'm still confident with Kwon, but I figure FSU is the key competition here.

If he wants to go pro, I like our chances of getting him. F$U aint what it used to be, and their defense isn't lighting anybody up...

FSU might have an easier road to the BCSNC this year than most teams. They are top 5 preseason in a weak conference for the most part. IF and a big if that they beat OU, which is home for them Isee them going undefeated. and winning the ACC. FSU is not UA or in the SEC but they offer just about anything any other school can right now and if Jimbo can put it all together they are poised to dominate the ACC for years to come. Remember the ACC is an automatic BCS qualifier.

The only other team ranked from the ACC is VT and they do not play them this year UNC. Plus UF I doubt will do much or Miami.

In the end I am not worried about FSU and Kwon. I feel pretty good that KA wears crimson next year.

Thats true, but so far all F$U is this year is all "hype" so far. Easy conference yes, but like last year they proved they still cant run the table even with a weak schedule. I would be HIGHLY surprised to see them with any better than 2 losses before the ACC title game.

I'll point out that FSU could be "all hype" and still go 12-1 in the ACC. An army of midgets wielding sticks is all that stands in their path.

A lot more pieces are in place this year, compared to last yr. 1 fluke fumble and and a miss fg and we would have been 11-1 going into the ACCCG in Jimbo's 1st yr.

9-5, 8-5, 10-3, 7-6 tells me they cant even go 12-1 against the stick wielding midgets.

But there WAS the fumble and missed FG. Great teams find ways to win. They couldnt. Now we should think EJ Manuel is going to be the "real deal" even though I think he's thrown more INT's than TD's? I'm not buying into the hype.

Beat OU and the Noles can be taken serious. Until that happens they are pretenders.

You are correct sir, Manuel has thrown 8TDs to 10INTS in his career at FSU. Small sample size but if FSU is going to make noise, which I believe they can, they need Manuel to play better than he has so far in his career. In fact I expect a FSU/VT ACC CG.

But using that logic, one could argue that, by taking away a fluke fumble against the barn and a crazy reverse on fourth-and-1 against the Mad Hatter, Alabama could have been 11-1 and playing in Atlanta with the possibility of playing for another NC. If if's and but's were candy and nuts...

I dont doubt they'll play for the ACC title (thats easy) but FSU will go into that game with ATLEAST 2 losses AND lose to VT. Again.

I'm not so sure about that. VT is good for one or so bad games a year and they may save their "bad game" for the ACC CG. I guess I like FSU more than most.
