Not a barner! '87 grad of the CAPSTONE. Been to every stadium in the SEC including Jackson & little rock. Have seen tide play over 200 in person. Just getting feedback from info posted on other boards.

Red Spider, care to give any sort of statement as to what you are talking about, or what you read? If you can't say where you heard that misinformation, maybe you can say what exactly you are talking about. Asking a foolish question in one of your first posts on the board is not going to endear you to other Tide Fans posters.

the rumor, which looks to have started on that board, goes pretty much like this:
Barn fan 1: Might as well look elsewhere. (regarding Nico, Tana, Dre, and Kelly)
Barn fan 2: I 100% disagree with this statement, unless something major has changed in the last week or two. It was pretty much common knowledge that not too long ago Saban tried to pressure Nico into committing and it rubbed Nico the wrong way (you might say ....ed him off). He and his mother told quite a few people he would NOT be signing with Bama. The school that was being whispered as having the upper hand for him was LSU.
For a while now Tana has wanted to be a Dawg, but they're not going to have room for him. Speculation has been that he's up for grabs with UAT and AU duking it out for him.
Dre & Kelly... I agree they end up at Bama, unless USC gives Dre the Reggie Bush special.
Bama fan: Been reading this board for over a year and y'all have a good thing going here. This post spurred me to make a comment or 2 if you don't mind.
You know, back when this Nico rumor that is supposedly "common knowledge" 1st came out (on this board) I looked on all the Bama message boards and found nothing about it. Not a single mention. And nothing about it since. Based on that, I'd say that there's nothing to that rumor.
As for Tana, something that I haven't seen on this board is that his cousin is Bama player Ali Sharrief and he spends time with Ali whenever he visits Bama, including this recent Bama camp that Tana attended. Hopefully that's a factor (along w/ playing time) in Bama's favor. Btw, Nico was also at this Bama camp.
Good luck on the season guys (except against Bama of course) and beat West Virginia!

Anyone gettng their Alabama recruiting info from an Auburn board is just asking for inaccurate information or just plain made up misinformation. I won't even repeat most of the bogus info about Alabama recruiting that I have heard or read attributed to them in the last several years. Worse than getting Alabama recruiting info from barners, is sharing it on Bama boards without qualifying it as barn info.
