Does this sound like Coach Saban's style at all? From everything I have read from other players he has recruited he doesn't come across as a high pressure guy. I can't picture a savvy recruiter like CNS handling a recruit this clumsily. I don't know where Nico will end up, but if it isn't at UA I have a hard time believing this will be the reason.

That rumor is laughable since Nico was in Tuscaloosa about 2 days ago having a good time with the coaches and players. I'll bet any barner that dares 100 bucks that Nico will sign with Bama in February. And you can relay that message/challenge to the barner who started that rumor.

The spider is back. I read this on the rivals recruiting page. My you guys are paranoid and I thought I was among friends. What is wrong with lurking. I bet 75% of you do it to. I am from Decatur I was a DKE at my beloved capstone. I have ticket stubs to just about every game I attended. I was also a member of the scholarship club before I lost my little brother to a heart attack at age 36. I chose to give up seats when I could no longer attend games without breaking down in tears because he was no longer beside me. By the way I buried him in an Alabama Gameday Jersey. Do I need to post more proof of where my loyalties lie. RIP little bro. You guys are asses.:BigA:

Oh yeah I made the 9 hour drive to Fayettville up that curvy mountain road. Practically had to park in Memphis to see a game in Oxford. I have an ungrad degree in Accounting & a masters in tax. Satisfied.

Let me just throw this out there for something to think about: I go to both pay sites and not in the 3 recruiting (counting this one) have I EVER read anything about CNS EVER pressuring anyone into signing~!~
All I have ever read is how he does just the OPPOSITE, so take what you read anywhere else with a grain of salt and check the tidesports chat once in a while they do a good job of updating the recruiting side... So again if CNS was to of done what we all KNOW he did not it would be the first time EVER I have heard it~!~

Agreed. I believe this is some crap started by some Barner fan who is tired of hiring Alabama fans gloat about players Alabama is in the hunt for or landed.
I could say....that there are rumors that Kodi Burns is looking to transfer to GA Tech, and it would hold as much weight as this barner fan saying that Saban is pressuring Nico to commit to Bama. IMO, this is the first I've ever heard anything like this. The reason? Because it's not true. Why Nico? Couldn't Saban have used these tatics for guys like Jones/Barron/Richardson, etc, etc, etc? So why use this tatic for Nico? The facts that I know of, is that Saban doesn't pressure recruits into signing with Alabama. Saban tells these recruits what to expect, and what they need to hear. If they can't handle it, move on, because Saban will.

One reason its hard to believe he pressured a player as high a quality as Nico is that its not as if he's gonna stop recruiting him hard if he commits or not. So its not exactly like he's worried about wasting time recruiting a recruit that's leaning our way, because he'll recruit him just as hard if he does commit.
