Like others have said, there's never been any indication that Coach Saban has had to pressure any recruits into committing before they're ready. Many high profile recruits like JJ and JH rode out the process completely right up to signing day and neither stated anything like that nor have I ever heard any others state that they were pressured, except when they visited the Barn and FL. I seriously doubt he's starting to now.

Spider, rumors don't go over well here, too many barners like to stir the pot and anyone can say anything, but it doesn't make it true. Its called obsession, and barners reek with it. Also, no one on this board is going to believe a new poster without some links to back it up. Its what makes this board unlike the others, if you're a long time lurker, you'd know that.
Your not exactly endearing yourself with your comments either.
Quite frankly, I don't read much into anything that comes off of Rivals either. Mostly crap and rumors that come off that board.

Some information from another board says that it's not a big deal, that Nico just pulled a hamstring while he was in camp. I actually saw this the other day, but I didn't post anything about it because there was no way to verify anything. That's all I've heard, so take it FWIW.

Unless there is an apology extended from him, link or not I say even without one more aggitated 'utterance' he should get a PM explaining how to win friends and not to influence barners on Tide Fans. Then follow that up with a long suspension so that he may contemplate the actions of his toxic venom and the ugly tangled web 'The Spider' has weaved on his first day posting on Tide Fans.

I did not mean to stir up a hornets nest. If I ever get to post again I will provide proof of why I am posting. I will mind my manners. I got worried about when I saw the thread. Please cut a first time poster some slack. I meant no harm to anyone. It is just been a rough time for me and my family since the loss of my only sibling. I am very sorry. I am a man of few words and I only would post if I had something I was concerned about. I love this board. The humor & the info. I swear I will never post again without a link or proof. Come on guys you could cut a first poster some slack. I believe there good people on this board. Once again it will not happen again. Sorry guys.

Spider, it takes a little while to get used to the rules, but it really does make it a more enjoyable site. Ive been banned/ suspended 2 times and its still my favorite site on the internet.

edit: maybe 3 times.. i cant remember.

Saban tried to pressure Nico into committing and it rubbed Nico the wrong way

I'm going to throw this in, just because the statement is so absurd. Our next class is already in the barn (forgive the metaphor). Each commitment so far has been announced on a schedule set by CNS. Far from Nick pushing the recruits, the recruits are calling him and wanting to be moved up on the schedule. More than that, one half of the NEXT class is already privately committed. Last year, all of the "Gulf" crew were committed many months before the beginning of their senior year, including the ones we were biting our nails about right up to NSD. All of this makes this statement just one more Barner whistling past the graveyard...
