*** LB Rashaan Evans Signs With Alabama ***

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

One more note: That video someone posted several pages back of the reaction of the Auburn coaches, that's almost just painful to watch. I like to hate on Auburn as much as the next guy, but you almost have to feel for the coaches in a situation like that. Obviously can't say I've got first-hand knowledge, but that has to be just absolutely dejecting. A couple of those guys looked like someone had just ripped their hearts out and stomped on it.

Can't do it. I have no compassion for them.

Not even a hint of a little bit.:BigA:

Really sad how some Auburn fans are reacting to a 18 year old decision. Here's hoping that the Evans family find peace/happiness in T-Town.

Wasn't Craig in that group? The man is a bald faced liar. He gets no sympathy from me.

Exactly, knowing the methods he uses to recruit - especially against us - earns him no respect or sympathy. I can imagine what he's thinking when he drops his head, "dang, and I used/wasted all my best lies..."

Just maybe the more informed recruits are starting to see through his lies. One would think that the way the barn went about trying to win the NC by reading FSU's signals, shined a light in many recruits eyes. If they can't line up and beat them then resort to cheating to gain an advantage.Lie, cheat and steal seems to be the order of the day for barners.

Naw, I've watched it about ten times and for some strange reason I get this warm fuzzy feeling in my heart every time that makes me grin.

You mean to tell me that those guys are still around Auburn? I'd have thought that they both would have already been paid off and out of town by now.

No. Luper got a job last season as WR coach at TCU. Trooper was involuntarily unemployed last year, but recently landed a job at Arkansas State as a cornerbacks coach.

Alan Evans talks about why Rashaan chose Alabama. Link

“It really could have gone either way,” said Alan Evans, father of Rashaan. “We gave him the green light to choose Auburn or Alabama. It came down to playing the star position at Auburn or the outside linebacker position at Alabama.
“He has never played the star position before. He could play it, but once he gets to fall camp he is behind Justin Garrett and Robenson Therezie. It would have been a lot tougher for him to play a position he has never played before as to playing outside linebacker, which he has played. It came down to, did he want to chase the quarterback or the wide receiver?

This is getting pathetic.

He's retweeting the people mentioning him. Auburn fans are still being absurd. Some are being nice, but some are being ignorant.
