Me an Tootsie were driving down the road and saw a turtle in the middle of the lane. We decided to rescue it. I took it to a wooded area and let it go. As I was leaving I caught a flash of grey in the bushes. It was a tiny, husky puppy. It had a face like a little bear. Someone dumped it. It wouldn't let me get near it. I took back food and water. I did this for three or four days and on the last day, it was shivering in the wet and cold and I was able to grab it by the scruff of the neck. That was a little over a year ago and that puppy has grown into a beautiful 35 pound husky. She is grey, black, and white and totally symmetrical. Here's a picture of when she was just a puppy:

Somewhere there is a turtle that my dog owes her life to. The actions of everything can affect others. The Hindu people won't even step on a bug. I ain't going that far, but I do understand their reasoning.
