Idk I listen to them every now and then, and i remember them making a big deal about not celebrating death but her turning on it with the IDF commander’s death. So I instantly thought that was what she was talking about, but no she was talking about LG’s unquestionable loyalty to AIPAC. Cenk even made a dumb joke about the death by saying Graham is meeting Hades and trying to get him to get Zeus to go to war with Poseidon or something.
This is where I am so glad that we don’t have the days of the old channel clicker, where I see whomever. I actually have to seek these folks out, and I’m never going to do that.
So much of the news shows have become opinion manufacturing, playing to “the base.” I honestly cannot remember the last time that I sat down and watched the evening news live on one of the three main channels of my childhood. I’m a creature of Brokaw/Jennings/Rather, and I am old enough to remember both Frank Reynolds and Walter Cronkite, as well as John Chancellor, David Brinkley, and even Max Robinson.
I know the world has changed, but nobody has that now. I miss the days of “the news in 30 minutes” on CNN Headline News, with Toria Tolley. Now l can grasp the bias in almost every printed story within two sentences.
You can tell by the inflection in the voice on a story now what the commentator’s views are.
