That says it for me, too. I guess because he was there when I was at Alabama I always felt close to Coach Moore. RIP, Coach, RIP.He was a part time QB while I was at Alabama...I feel like an old friend has passed away.
Amen. Maybe CNS and the team can give him a threepeat. That would be a great way to celebrate and honor Coach Moore. He could watch from his special seats and the season could be dedicated to him. RTRNot going to look at this sadly anymore today. He lived a great full life, being able to take part in something he loved. He is arguably the most successful man in CFB history as a player, coach, and AD. His legacy will live on for a long time, and he left this world, this state, and the University he so loved a better place. Let's not mourn his passing, but celebrate the wonderful man, because that's what all of his success stemmed from was being a great person. Remember him how he would want to be remembered, not by these last few months where his health failed him (like it will all of us one day), but the nearly six decades he spent doing what he loved.

When it came on, it was very fast...Wow, who knew that when I hugged Coach Moore getting off the airplane in Miami that I would never see him again.I feel like someone has kicked me in the gut.
Many of you know I work the team charter flights. I got to know Coach Moore and got to experience first hand his love for the University and what a true southern gentlemen he was. I thanked Coach Moore numerous times throughout the years for his dedication to the University and for the positive difference he made for the University I love. Never did he ever try to take credit. He always deferred to someone else.
Coach Moore, 1B will always be yours. No one else can begin to fill that seat. You will be sorely missed this season and in the future. I know the University of Alabama family will heal, and I pray your daughter and family will be able to as well. You've left quite a void in our hearts.
So He reached down and got the very best.RIP Coach ---
