Meaning of your Username....

There was a 1950's movie called The Crimson Pirate, starring Burt Lancaster. Wanted something to do with Bama that was a tad different that most usernames. I've had this one since forever. Just wish I could use the avatar I've been using on the other forums. It's been with me since the start, also.

If you say Crimson Tide just right it sounds like Crim's son, Tide, so I turned it into Tide, son of Crim to give it an old world sound (like Gimli, son of Gloin or Aragorn, son of Arathorn).

FOR I AM THE CRIMSONMASK AND I SHALL ANSWER THIS QUESTION ONCE AGAIN! why? Because I love to talk about my user name:

Crimson= for my beloved Crimson Tide
Mask= because we get to hide behind our identities when on boards such as these. yeah...I know....deep.

or the reason that I am The CrimsonMask is because I was really into wrestling when I first joined this board and I thought that would be a cool name. What has wrestling got to do with it? Well....I'm glad you asked.

You see, when a wrestler blades (cuts his forehead to cause the bleeding effect) the blood poors over his face continuously throughout the match. Once it covers his entire face it is referred to as a "crimson mask". Cool Huh?

The sophisticated side of me goes for the first explanation but the real me goes to the more aggressive side.

So there you have it.....the story of The CrimsonMask.
