Did Auburn ever state what "undisclosed team rules" that Dyer broke, that resulted in his suspension and ultimate release from his scholarship?

Dyer had made himself an absolute pariah with his coaches and teammates, showing up late for everything and, as another example, sending out managers to get him dinner because he refused to eat what was being served the rest of the team.

Unless there are criminal charges involved, no team would ever release those kinds of details. AU guy I know says it was 1. reefer, as we've all heard, and 2. Dyer had made himself an absolute pariah with his coaches and teammates, showing up late for everything and, as another example, sending out managers to get him dinner because he refused to eat what was being served the rest of the team.
What ... he is too good for cornbread and pinto beans?
We had some behavior close to that before CNS arrived. I give cheez credit for putting his foot down.
Chiz was tired of players using Dyer's gun for team building events.
I can't do that. So he decided that Dyer was too much trouble right after the Iron Bowl? I don't buy it. I agree with you about him actually doing something about, but the timing suggests that winning (or at least trying to win) was still more important than doing what needed to be done.
I don't buy it either. If dyer was such a problem why would Malzahn bring him to Arky St?
Guys, who cares?
We're not playing Arkansas State this year, and if the Iron Bowl in Bryant-Denny is close enough that the absence or hypothetical presence of Dyer would make a difference one way or the other, we've got much bigger problems than why he went back closer to home.
Nah, I think that was cam she was drooling about...
