Let's put a lock on this one shall we? I always hear folks on here saying " We're Alabama, we're class...etc". All it takes is one guy that don't know the meaning of the word to bring the whole parade to a screeching halt. JMHO

And hey, he didn't make it to Bama but he still gets the joy of beating our red-headed step child, the Barn. I know, I know, we haven't beaten them in 5 years. But there was a huge reason for that (not an excuse, a reason) that we don't need to rehash.
This board does it's best to keep the smack/trash talk out because people don't want to sift through it to get to something worth reading. It's a waste of board space. There are boards for loose keyboards but this ain't one of them. This board isn't for everybody.
I agree 22's wording could have been better, but if we are going to suggest someone fix their original post, as has been done in this case, then everyone who had the original quote as part of their posts should go back and fix them as well. It doesn't do much good to have a post corrected and then be able to read the original quote over and over and over...well you get the point. To me, it doesn't make sense to quote something in your thread that you find offensive.
He's doing his time... and will have a chance to demonstate better judgment.
I guess I am just plain dumb - I understand the rule to not bash "our" players - but players on other teams are off limits too?
He signed a LOI with Bama (several times) and wanted to wear Crimson as much as anyone. That makes him part of us, imo...
This would fall under the following rule since we recruited him and he committed to us originally:
* Improper and/or harsh criticism of current or former players or HS recruits.
Mike Ford tried his best to come to Bama. I wish he could have had his dream come true. Are there not several members of the current USF team that Tried to attend Bama? Which ones?

Class is done for the day, and i just hadn't updated my mood until now. I have to remind myself sometimes that i'm a student here and its very exciting.
I am glad I'm not the only one thats noticed this. Kind of hard to miss his infinite amount of posts a day and trying to enforce rules. I find it funny. I'm leaving if the unmentionable happens but he would probably take of that for me hahaha. I'm sure alex is a fine fella....

ok so what is improper about this.
1) Mike Ford did commit and sign an LOI to the University of Alabama.
2) because of a learning disability he did not qualify to attend the University of Alabama
3) He would have been a part of our running back stable. And a highly effective one. I loved his videos out of High School.
4) he said nothing that was not true. He did sign an LOI but because of a learning disability he did not qualify.
5) from what i hear he did well in class study homework etc but seemed to have a panic attack on tests. nothing major alot of people do and because of this his TEST scores did not really reflect what he was capable of.
I think you guys who have bashed the one posting this are in violation of the "rules" more for bashing the one who posted it. He posted no rumor or any sort. did not call anyone any names just posted a fact pure and simple.
