I am going to make a point of checking you out this fall, my new daughter permitting . Been catching different teams since being here...not quite the speed of AL HS overall, but pretty good football.

Just as an aside, what is your take on the Cochran rule?

Please do check us out. We have been on a rebuilding mission. This Senior class I have , I took as freshmen and have moved up with them. I run a spread no huddle concept, so meeting Rush and Urban this weekend was special! We have 24 Seniors , so this should be the year. All 5 offensive linemen will be 3 year starters, and as we see with our Tide , O-line makes all the difference!
As for the Cochran rule, I'm mixed. We had to "manage " a couple of games, which is tough. I coached at Newington when he was at New Britian, so been on the other side also!
Please try and check us out the fall and make sure you give me a shout. You'll know me as I'm in my 40s and the other coaches, including the Head Coach, are all in their early 20s. We also have the new field turf and it is absolutely stunning.

Les Miles threw his hat in the ring a couple of times the first time I believe was when we hired fRan.

Geez. That hat must have taken up at least half the ring. That thing is huge.
