Milroe and Sanders were played by the NFL teams as bait to see if anyone was dumb enough to take a chance at them in the 1st round and effectively waste a pick. Dart was the real prize at quarterback after Ward. It goes back to the whole “not throwing at the Combine” stunt Milroe did. He allowed Dart to gain eyes on him and he seriously believed that a Pro Day in which he was in control of drills was going to be enough. It costed him.
