Mincey wants rematch

"Florida's biggest concern could be that it's a team without an identity. It doesn't have a great running back or an outspoken team leader on offense."

But it sure has a loud mouth on defense.

This guy is a joke!! Is he serious?? Rematches are only given to opponents who earn them by almost winning but falling short. FLA was BLOWN OUT!! Did Muhammad Ali give Herb Siler a rematch? Who is Herb Siler? My point exactly!!

he was dropped on his head when he was a child!

I also found Meyer's comments funny. He said that it would be different next time because they hadn't seen some of what we did before. Isn't that was coaching is all about...having a game plan and if they do something you don't expect you MAKE ADJUSTMENTS? Not a terribly bright thing for a coach to say! Maybe he was dopped on his head too?

Not all there, is he?

"Of course, it would be different (next time)," he said. "We know what to expect a lot more than what we did last time. There was a lot of stuff that went on that I hadn't seen."

I don't recall any off the wall type plays in the game. What hadn't he seen? A team line up and dominate the line of scrimmage?? What a complete idiot!

Too Funny :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

Right the more Urban talks the more I think he is an idiot. If we do meet them again we will have new wrinkles that he has never seen us do. But maybe thats where he is lost. Good coaches never show their hand and if their hand is exposed they adjust it. The Gaytors made no effective adjustments at the half! Didnt they see something in the locker room to try and take advantage of or is he just that arrogant and stubborn to think he could have success doing the same thing that was failing. Combo of both. He knew we were better, he had no answer. I'm not sold on this guy. Limited experience as head coach now he is in the big leagues. I bet Notre Dame is relieved. With their tough schedule ND would be in ruins right now with Urban.

Somebody else, a Michigan fan, just said the same thing to me. Notre Dame may have gotten very lucky. I compared Meyer to the Fraud, but that's probably not fair to Meyer.

If we run the table and get to the SECCG, I would much rather play (and beat) UGA. That would mean that this year we beat UF, UT, LSU, AU, and UGA. That's the "4 big games" everyone has talked about since before the season...plus 1.

It also means we very likely would've beaten 5 teams in the top 20...maybe even the top 10, depending on how the season goes for LSU and AU.

Well consider that UM was quoted after the game as saying that he didn't know anything about Brodie Croyle before Saturday's game, that they weren't prepared for Bama's speed, yada, yada, yada -- and you get a picture of what kind of preparation went into the Florida gameplan for Alabama. Not much.

You don't get any more arrogant than that. Which is why it was extra sweet to have our team just dismantle his.

All I can say is I'm glad our players aren't that pathetic.

I can't beleive that the Florida coaches and fans put up with that BS.
