Muschamp or Pruitt?

Muschamp needs an older brother, that is a successful football coach. Then that older brother puts him the press box to call plays.

The decision is easy for me, Pruitt. He's a Bama boy , born and raised. Play for the Tide, was a GA, Saban gave him his first major D1 gig a the DB coach at Alabama, knows the system and expectations under CNS, no hints of bolting for the NFL, no immediate aspirations for HC yet. He would be a state hero by becoming a DC for his beloved alta mater. He already coached in a NC game in which they won as a DC, that's priceless experience! ! Coached again as DC in the SEC at UGA. I can see him learning from the master for the next 5 years which will only make him more of a hot commodity down the line if he's ready to be a HC. I won't even bother why I don't want muschamp.

CNS loves big names. IMO that's why he went with Kiffin and why I'm afraid he'll go with Muschamp. I don't know if I can bear to watch Muschamp every game. It'll be a test for sure...

please, please, please no Muschump for all the reasons everyone already said.

And as much as we all like to say we trust Saban, he's not perfect in coach hires (Applewhite, Thompson, Steele just recently) and honestly I think the Chump would be a massive mistake. Maybe Saban could tame the beast a lot like he was able to get kiffen settled in, but with Kiffen it was a total change in what the expectations were (head coach v coordinator) whereas with the Chump it's the same thing as he does now where he's an embarrassment.

Pruitt over Muschamp. Muschamp has become even more dramatic/volitale since he became a head coach. Coach Saban would have to monitor him too much. His antics against the Barn was ridiculous and an embarrassment.

See any resemblance?

Counter punch for Mushamp for the heck of it.

If Muschamp was on the winning sideline would his temper be perceived as badly?........no. And would he have less antics if winning?
He may not be head coaching material, but he is a proven defensive coordinator. I think he would come in and the defense wouldn't miss a beat.

"There is nobody who hates to lose more than me." -- Nick Saban

Remember Coach Saban those first few years?

And Muschamp's defense improved as the season progressed, Auburn does not want to lose him

From what I've heard, muschamp and CNS had a very bad falling out in miami and it probably will prevent them from ever working as hc and dc ever again. Pruitt reminds me too much of rush propst. I doubt he has a secret life but he is very vocal about what he feels. So I would prefer we went away from both, and either settle in house or find an up and comer over those two .
