Need Help With My Undershirt

Men should wear undershirts to work -- generally crew neck t-shirts. If you button the top button of your polo shirts, you should wear a v-neck t-shirt in this instance. With respect to tucking, button your pants and then pull your undershirt and shirt down straight and tight by accessing them through your fly. If your t-shirt and shirt don't at least cover your privates, you need to try some different sizes and/or brands than what you're currently using.

Good advice. After reading this thread, I also recommend the Ask Andy forums as a decent place for generic men's clothing questions.

I didn't read through all the posts, but you can buy what is called a "Taylor belt" that wear inside the pants that holds your shirt(s) in place. I wear one when I umpire baseball.

This may sound strange to you, but I find a lot easier to pull my shirt on first. That way I can look in the mirror and see how well my shirt fits. Then I can just just as easily pull up my pants, button them and pull up my fly without having to reach in and pull down my shirt. Just a thought....

Not strange at all, but I will note that my technique is applicable beyond initially getting dressed. For example, with each trip to the bathroom, I use the "pull down" technique to keep my shirts fully tucked throughout the day.
