Nice improvement in our kicking game too. Good job Cade and Jeremy.

I wonder if it was because of that injury he had, where he was shot in the arm years back defending his girlfriend from a robber.
Matt Simms's hometown is a stones through away from where I grew up in Bloomingdale, NJ. He gave it his all against us, but it wasn't enough, our D shut down in the the 2nd half. Hats off to Chris for getting an opportunity to play at Tenn, he is a good kid.
We have Got to stop the holding calls near the endzone.
This! WV has far too much experience to be doing takedowns right in front of an official...
I got to meet his brother several times when he was playing for the Bucs before Jon Gruden ruined him. Classy guy super nice, Great family. I'm glad the kid did not get hurt & I think he will do really good . go back & look at Payton's game against us in 94, after that he took off, we will be worried about Matt next year I assure you.
It was only 15 minutes, actually. The 4th quarter was mostly practice time for the 2nd and 3rd team guys.
Very quickly before we get too far away from the Tennessee game. I spoke with someone this morning who was in the locker room at halftime Saturday night. Very encouraging stuff. I know all of us here assumed that Coach Saban ripped some people some new ones (even some former Bama players expressed as much on Twitter)...
But my guy tells me that Coach Saban didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It was, instead, the senior leaders (Hightower, Vlachos, Upshaw, and to a lesser extent, Barron, because he doesn't talk much) that spoke up and challenged all of the guys around them.
That's always great to hear. The coaches can't be on the field. So it's always good to know that there are some guys (and in our case, a LOT of guys) that take on that challenge to lead the others.

This was exactly what we were missing a year ago.
