I firmly believe that NIL is at the root of this complacency problem...Dan Orlovsky counted 21 "loafs" by Alabama players during the game.

Yeah, clearly that is in Tuscaloosa and not Tallahassee...That was originally posted over the summer. It might not be your or my cup of tea, but wasn't post-FSU...
I think I read somewhere that they use the performance devices (forgot what its called) during the game.Dan Orlovsky counted 21 "loafs" by Alabama players during the game.
They do. I think Grubb referred to it IIRC referring to one of the WRs.I think I read somewhere that they use the performance devices (forgot what its called) during the game.
Perhaps they need to see what effort was being exerted by those players during those plays and adjust the depth chart accordingly...?![]()
I'm sorry, I am not familiar with the term "performance device." Not really concerned with what they are called, but what do they do?I think I read somewhere that they use the performance devices (forgot what its called) during the game.
The public protection and coddling of the players should be a thing of the past. These players are literally being paid to play football, and their checks get cashed whether they play good or bad. They need to be treated more like professional players than during the days when they weren't getting paid to play. The lack of effort is shocking. But that can be easily rectified - bench anyone who isn't giving his all. The question is: does our HC have the guts to do it?
I'd rather lose playing 2s and 3s who are trying their best than to win a few games playing guys who don't really care.
I also think that if CKD stepped up to the mike at a press conference - even if we lost the game - and state that so-and-so and so-and-so were benched because they weren't hustling, most fans would be okay with that.
We live outside Baton Rouge now. They call him "Husky Harsin" down here on talk radio. Is he a slightly more successful Harsin? Time will tell..
Can't do any of that....the guy might not be the coaches friend then. Since we're worried more about being friends than coaches, that would be the antithesis of the philosophy.I think I read somewhere that they use the performance devices (forgot what its called) during the game.

if it's what i'm thinking, it's a dude bra with sensors to track various measures of the athleteI'm sorry, I am not familiar with the term "performance device." Not really concerned with what they are called, but what do they do?
after last year, hubbard's lack of effort really surprised meJust watch some Bray Hubbard low lights, I can’t remember our defense ever looking this bad.

Measures the amount of effort exerted by the player. (Can't remember what it's called, but it was brought in under Saban and was widely acclaimed as cutting edge.)I'm sorry, I am not familiar with the term "performance device." Not really concerned with what they are called, but what do they do?
I love how the house lights are off inside the house for the entire commercial. Laying down the rules in the dark to save moneySadly......not sure you'll ever get someone as discipline-oriented as the GOAT......
I think it’s the catapult system.Measures the amount of effort exerted by the player. (Can't remember what it's called, but it was brought in under Saban and was widely acclaimed as cutting edge.)
My mind is drawing a blank on the name of it at the moment...![]()
