Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. LSU...

It really is amusing. And I have seen this board go down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole before too. But they’ve got guys calling for Turner and Milroe to have season ending and career ending injuries because they are upset that their team lost a game by 2 TDs. Kinda pathetic. The wild conspiracies and obvious blind homerism make me giggle though. For example:

“The sequence that turned the game.

Tie game, Daniels gets a big run. Called back for a phantom hold. Taylor drops the pass on 2nd and 17. LSU punts.

Bama goes downfield and on a big play, 77 for Bama literally spears a defensive player after the play in front of three refs. No call. Three plays later they take the lead on a play where 35 for LSU is blatantly held right in front of two refs. No call. CBS even made that the “play of the game” to rub it in.

Next possession is the tipped INT, then the possession after that is the cheap shot.

Yet fans still think this isn’t corruption. It’s so blatantly rigged that they literally laugh in your face all the way to the bank.”

“I agree that we lost because we have an inept DC and subpar players who are also poorly coached. That said, don't forget the timely penalties that killed a few of our offensive drives. Bama and the REC knew that we had to score pretty much every time we had the ball in order to have a chance to win. They made sure that didn't happen.”

Emphasis mine. I always thought the REC line was just a joke on here. But no. People really believe it. 😆
so did the checks not clear last year?

I know it’s hard to tell from TV, but I’ve still yet to hear it as loud as 2005 Florida, 2005 Tennessee, or 2009 Tennessee

A lot of it’s where they put the equipment and how they mix it. Alot of people on here complained about the loudness during the Texas game but like I said afterwards it’s one of the most consistently loud games at BDS I have ever attended. Last night was near as loud throughout as 2014 Auburn.

It was pretty loud. Definitely top 5 loudest moments at BDS that I have ever heard.

The loudest two I’ve heard the place get are Milroe’s touchdown to Burton vs Texas and Matt Caddell’s catch vs Arkansas in 2007. Now admittedly those could be lower decibel wise but to me they both sounded the loudest.

Again I’m sure Rocky Block is definitely up there but I wasn’t at that game.
I was a Rocky Block with my son, I literally could not hear him talking to me sitting beside me

The noise level was physically painful. I wouldn`t at all be surprised if most everybody who was there left the stadium with somewhat less hearing capacity than when they walked in. If the wind was right I can`t imagine that you couldn`t hear it in Northport. Maybe farther.

The “phantom hold” call on the Daniels run referenced by the poster on Vilenation was so obvious I called it before the flag came out.

Yeah. They called it on one guy, but could have just as easily called it on the guy on the other side. Both were way past obvious holds.

Reactions: CB4
One other "old school BAMA" favorite. I think we took over 8 minutes off the clock on that 4th quarter drive. I wish we had gone for it on that 4th and 1. I don't think there was any way they would have stopped us, and we probably could have ended the game right there.

Man, I hate most CFB fans (especially in the SEC) . Like the tenneesse fans, the louisiana fans are whining non-stop abut the officiating.

Such emotionally weak, whiny people - every time they lose.

Most CFB fans are just soft.
And I would like to tell them that their worst fears are true and that yes, the SEC wants an Alabama/Georgia SEC championship game and will stop at no cost to make it happen.

Nobody wants to see LSU get plowed by Georgia again.

I mean, blue font, but not really.

lot's of crow to be handed out
I’ll say I can eat some although I think he still has some flaws and a lot of room for improvement in the passing game. He’s improved more than I thought he would have and credit to him for it. So if he keeps the turnovers to a minimum, utilizes his legs like last night, and keeps improving we will be playing at a championship level. I still think with this defense if we score 35pts a game we will win.
We’ve ran on option all year but Jalen pulled the ball a few times last night and that made them respect it and opened up the running lanes more for the rbs. Plus he was more decisive on his scrambles which lead to conversions on 3rd down with his legs.
