Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama vs. LSU...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I think everyone kinda need to settle down with overreaction with our run game. It is what it is at this point. I think we need to play Hill/Riley more down the stretch. Miller isn't healthy at this point. I'll say this: I saw few lanes open for running game, but the RBs, especially Miller didn't take advantage of it. they weren't aggressive and didn't go hard.

Ty- definitely got in his own heads tonight. On the play where Fromby caught the ball, Cuevas was wide open on that play. On several plays throughout the night, there was someone wide open or receivers dropped the ball. I want to say we left 17 points on the board. The failed 4th down conversion, missed field goals, and that punt in 4th when we could've easily went for it.

The Deep passes was there... but we were like 1 for 3..

As far as Oklahoma... I'm not concerned... but We're going to have to add QB runs play to keep them honest.

A win is a win and I'll take it. But im afraid our offensive line is in for a rude awakening next Saturday. Sooners defense is a lot better than LSU's. Venebles has two weeks to prepare and we can't run block, LOL! What could possibly go wrong?! LOL
You’re basing your opinion on reason and logic which the 2025 Alabama crimson tide doesn’t operate on. lol

I called this earlier. A team that leans heavily on the passing attack and cannot run the ball is like a basketball team that lives or dies by the 3-pointer. When the 3s are falling, it's great. When 3-point shooting goes cold, they are in trouble.
Ty had a very average game (for a college QB, not for how he played earlier in the year). Maybe he was a bit rusty. LSU's pass rush was effective and their DBs played fairly well. Still, when Ty has a cold night passing, Bama's in trouble because the run game cannot pick up the slack. LSU was not able to capitalize. Others will doubtless notice and try to be more effective. Better teams are coming up in the schedule (e.g. OU, SECCG, playoffs).

We have played the last 2 games knowing we were the better team trying to go for the knockout punch only to run our stick and move strategy in the ditch.

We need to accept what we are at this point and ride it as far as it takes us. We are an incomplete team this year. Im not sure we can beat A&M with how this offense is structured. But it is what is at this point.

u missed AU ... I am expecting us to drop OU and AU

That was a dumb and dangerous play. He had already gioven up on the run and was sliding. This could have seriously injury Nussmeier (and it got LSU out of a 3rd and 11 play).
Bama played a much cleaner game, other than this play.
I wish these kind of plays get players thrown out of game than the questionable late hits to QB

I missed the first half playing a gig. I thought the defense did a great job, especially when their backs were against the wall, and held LSU to just 3 FG's. Ty missed a couple of wide open shots that I hope he can fix - one to Germie, one to Ryan, even though I think Ryan might have been able to catch his. I also think we should have had one drive extended on what should have been an obvious pass interference call. What else would you call a play where the DB is beat, doesn't look back for the ball and just runs over the receiver. Can't believe they didn't call that one. But a win is a win. Just keep winning.
