Question, if Milroe returns to college next season what makes some posters so confident he will not be in Tuscaloosa?

Why would he leave? He, and the LANK mafia control the locker room. This coaching staff hasn’t had the balls to do anything about Milroe yet. CKD chose to not run his real offense, the one he was hired for, and went with a QB that handicapped everything on that side of the ball. No one, not even Saban, has stood up to this dude and his mafia for 2 years. What makes people think it will happen now?

If his NFL draft stock has evaporated then I fear he will still be in crimson next season. I have zero confidence with any adult in Tuscaloosa forcing Milroe out.

My football watching friend who is not in Alabama alone, but was becoming an SEC football fan, said, "The coach decides what quarterback is on the field. Don't blame the quarterback. Blame the coach." Hard to argue with that.
Your friend doesn’t understand that NIL and money decides who is on the field now, not the coach. Why do you think the LANK mafia has controlled Tuscaloosa for 2 seasons and forced Saban into retirement?

He strikes me more as a bit of a selfish person who likes to act like a person with a good heart. But I may be reading him wrong.
I don’t know JM. All most of us can go by is what coaches say, media interviews, and his demeanor on the field on the sidelines during the game. The first three indicate he is as good a young man as you’ll find. However, some of his interactions with teammates on the sidelines and his almost detached appearance at times gives me pause.

Today, Brailsford seemed to be talking with him and, at least by appearance, JM just blew him off.

I don't understand the "not allowed to speak about" or who exactly the LANK Mafia are. Can someone help me with this?
Some of our senior members and/or moderators have connections and sources who provide information about the program. They won’t violate that trust by disclosing those sources and detailed information about the turmoil that LANK has promoted.

Okay, please, explain it to me. In the Oklahoma game, Milroe throws his second interception, Coach DeBoer pulls him and sends in Simpson.
What happens next?
(Not trying to be a smart aleck. Honest question. What happens after that decision?

All that might matter if they had been winning, but this is a terrible football team. Next year Alabama will begin the year outside the top 20 for the first time since 2008. Absolutely nobody will be talking about the tide, no preseason lists, college gameday will be elsewhere. All our kickoff times will be at 11AM and CKD will be at the top every every coaching hotseat list. He might even get a brick thrown threw his office window just for old time sake. Winning solves a lot of problems but losing, well that opens a lot of doors and sometimes the choice to leave isn't voluntary.

100% agree time for Milroe to move on, but after watching the O-line performance I think it may have been an injustice to put Ty Simpson in the game....but probably worth it no matter.
There was plenty of opportunity to slide away from the pressure and deliver the ball. I would love to have seen Mac Jones attack this defense.

Too late to catch you up, it has stretched over two seasons and multiple players. Ok, basically the info out there is the QB‘s business dealings with the Slogan LANK became popular and a life of its own as an NIL collective signing mutiple players on the team . The QB leveraged that to continue as the starter or his guys would walk or not play hard for the team. to keep the peace the QB remained the starter even after poor play because they had the team over a barrel. Maybe it wasn’t so hard after all. None of this has any evidence that has seen the light of day, but has become so prevalent it has become fact.

Fair enough and understood, think I know one but who is LANK?
