That can’t be true, I thought with NIL, Alabama lost their edge in recruiting , that’s why Saban quit because they can’t attract top players any longer. . Imagine the talent had so many not transferred after Nick left. I mean the offensive and defensive leaders at Ohio State are Bama transfers.

If DeBoer has championship-level success this season, meaning that he makes the playoffs and wins a game or two, the recruiting machine will only get better. Nick established a culture and identity while at Alabama that all someone has to do now is be successful, and the recruiting should always be top-notch. Just look at the short time Nick was at LSU. That culture he built is still present there. Yes, they took some dips but they have been more successful post-Nick than they ever were pre-Nick.

This is a great stat, but if we are not "chippy" after a 9-4, disappointing season like last year, it won't matter!

Maybe it's my Crimson Colored Glasses, but I think this might be our most motivated team since 2008 or 09. We had it in 08, but didn't have the horses, and finally did in 09.

I don't think we HAVE to win the NC to have a great season, but we do have to make the playoffs and show we are making serious progress from last year!
