What's your take. Personally I think it's going to be alot higher than people think. Obviously both O's are very capable. Defense and whoever commits the fewest mistakes should decide this one.
What say ye ??

Mallett (guided by the offensive mind of Petrino) is that good.
So is the Tide's offense.
I see a track meet.

If you have 55, I think it pushes
We won't pound if Petrino puts eight in the box. We'll open with an empty backfield. We would have done that vs. PSU, except we got backed up with a penalty. The runs worked, so we opened the second series empty. If the Hog Nation thinks we will pound away at an overloaded front until we fail and then pass, go back and disabuse them of that notion. The odds are about 90% that we will open up throwing...While I agree both teams can score at will. I think both coaches are scared of the other teams offense.
I see Arkansas playing dink and dump attacking the Bama LBs and the flats. The goal of the Arkansas staff is protect Mallett and get the receivers and backs the ball in space. Bama is talented and experienced in the front, so CNS will be able to keep both safties in pass coverage.
Everybody knows what Bama will do pound, pound, pound and pass when the Arkansas safties get to involved in stopping the run. While Arkansas is improved on defense, I don't believe they will be able to stay in pass coverage.
I think it has the potential to be a track meet, but I think the ball control game will keep it reasonable.
I think our defense is better than Tenn. Tech, ULM and Georgia, so is our offense. If Mallett is that good how is he all of a sudden going to score more against Alabama than his previous games?
Ever notice that when two great offenses come together and everyone is expecting a 100 point game, it seems that we end up with a 10-7 or 14-10 type game?
I don't think that it'll happen this time, but you never know.
So if there are two high power offenses competing, the best defense should win right? I'll put my money on a Saban coached defense any day any time.
