BigBama,

You have my prayers and this little bit of comfort. Bypass surgery has became pretty routine these days. I had a quaduple bypass back in March, no problems at all. A friend of my daughter's is the guy who schedules surgeries at the hospital I was in. He assured my daughter that bypasses are almost 100% anymore. I know it's scary anytime you're cut on, but it's not as bad as most folks think.

Hey buddy, don't you sweat it. My dad had triple by-pass surgury last November and he's doing great. His only problem is he had to quit smoking (thank god) and he's gained a little weight because of it. It's just like Mac said, thanks to research and development over the past 10 years, by-pass sugury is very routine these days. They said my dad would be in surgury 4-5 hours, he was in 2 and a half hours and did great. So don't you even worry about it. My prayers are sent anyways. Take care!

A hail mary can't hurt. I'll say it tonight.
